December holiday kick off and Tokai Plantation

December 15th was the last official day of work for Grassroot Soccer's 2011 year. I of course wasn't finished with all of the work so my last day became the 16th...some things never change :).

On December 18th, me, Charlie (roommate), Alice (colleague) and Charlie (Alice's roommate) decided to kick off the vacation with a hike to Elephant's eye in the Tokai Plantation which is part of the Table Mountain National Forest (about a 45 minute drive outside of Cape Town). The hike up took a good 2 hours, but the views were amazing and the scenery was well worth it. After the hike we headed back to town to play some pick up soccer.
